Another season starts in the traditional way. Also bring along a tenner for the subscription - it is the only meeting our treasurer Mark Hugo is guaranteed to go home happy from - usually via the pub.

16 Sept:  An evening with Bob Neville

Our own, our very own, Bob Neville will be showing us two part of his collection - HMS Hood and Queen Victoria Gibraltar.

30 Sept: Club Night - the letters Y, Z and A and My Most Interesting Item

Bring along anything which you can sneak in under one or more of the above letters and, as a separate thing, you most interesting item that we have not seen before.

14 Oct : Thematic Cup and one-sheet competition

You know the score by now - come along and try to win the Thematic Cup and regale us with the best sheet from your album.

28 October 7.45 start Charter Cup judged by the Mayor & Display

Come and meet the Mayor who will judge the Charter Cup competition. That is followed by a display.


Our very own Les Hillman will be taking your bids on the mammoth mountain of material which will all be looking for a good home. Also a good opportunity for you to sell some of your better items.

It's Cup time again, this time it is your Postal History under the spotlight. That is followed by a new feature, bring along what know or think is a forgery or other duff material from your collection.

Not to be missed. Peter is the Southern England representative of the Irish Philatelic Circle. Many who have seen his display and heard him speak say it is the best evenings on the philatelic circuit so not to be missed.
