Stamps and symbols

 There has been a long-standing dispute between Korea and Japan regarding the ownership of the Dokdo Islands. The Koreans, both North and South, have used postage stamps to underline their claim. 

You may not have heard of the Dokdo Islands but one dispute you are sure to be familiar with is that between Britain and Argentina over ownership of the Falkland Islands. As the display show, stamps have been used by both sides to publicise their claim.
