Charter Cup 2016C

The Charter Cup was presented to the Society by the Borough of Epsom in the 1960s.
Since then we have invited the Mayor Of Epsom to come along to one of our meetings to judge a competition and present the trophy. We also try to put on a display relevant to one of the Mayor's interests.

The current Mayor,  George Crawford QPM, joined Metropolitan Police in 1962 and eventually became a Chief Superintendent before retiring in 1992. The display was given by Steve Cross on the subject of Fictional Detectives and the Charter Cup was won by Judy Peake.
